I am still in awe of what yourself and your associates have accomplished for me in and out of the courtroom last week and want to take this time to thank you for your truly exceptional work. I hardly know where to begin in my gratitude except from the beginning.
When I called you just days before the court date, I had already resigned myself to at least six months in jail and a $3,000 fine for a fourth DUI offense. This is what the hack attorney I had retained told me was the best outcome and that I should be glad for that!
I agonized for over two months, night and day, as to what I was going to do, until I called you late on the Saturday four days prior to the court date. My first feeling of hope just speaking to you since the arrest. You told me you would meet me at your office the next day, on a Sunday afternoon of all times, to discuss the case.
Sunday came and you were there, while addressing the seriousness of the case I could detect the confidence you had. Having all but given up on myself facing my fourth DUI along with seven other serious charges and fines, not to mention the fee to retain you and your associates, I felt a bit recharged. I wasn't even sure that I could afford your courtesy offer of half the fee for handling a case such as mine.
The next day (Monday), it was decided that you would be retained and paralegal Melissa was on the phone with the MVA and managed to pull an unexpected rabbit out of the hat to have my driving license back (with no strings attached) within a few months afterwich the fate of my driving privileges would be determined at a later date by an Administrative Hearing. She is really on the ball, BTW. All of this before the retainer reached your office.
The next day in your offices, I met with yourself, Alexandra Miller and the rest of the office and felt like there was a dedicated team devoted just to the case at hand (knowing full well that you all had so many other cases to deal with). While Alexandria was interviewing me, taking notes and pretty much going through my life history and circumstances to get a feel for me, you were across the desk making things happen with the hack attorney. He was fired, you and your team were hired and you managed to recover most of the retainer placed on the hack attorney which was more expensive than your reduced fee. This was all accomplished the day before the trial. Truly remarkable.
The next day at court, you amazed me at how you and Alexandria handled things. This is the first time I actually had a team of attorneys represent and work so hard for me, which I have never seen nor experienced in a courtroom before. Also, something worth the mention is the truly genuine HUMAN connection and compassion I felt from yourself and everyone associated with the case which was never experienced by any other law firm, even though I felt it was not deserved.
Let's see, out of eight charges (four or five of which could have carried jail time and all carrying heavy fines) you were able to 'Nolle Prosequi' all but one. That one in which a guilty verdict was reached, one year in jail was imposed and a $1,000 fine incurred and even those two were suspended. Now, I only have complete a twenty-eight day inpatient program, which I really need.
Bruce, myself and my family can not thank you and your staff enough on the results that were delivered and I will recommend your representation to everyone in a jam like this or similar.
My Utmost Sincerity,
I can’t thank you enough for all that you have done for me in the past three years. In May of 2005, I got my 1st DUI and I didn’t know what to do or who to turn to for help. After looking on the Internet and reading your testimonials, I knew that you were the right guy for the job. When I contacted you, you called me right back, met with me on a holiday and reassured me that everything would be all right. Without hesitation you jumped headfirst into my case and the result… no jail time.
The following year, I got my second and third DUIs, 4 months apart, and contacted you about it, ashamed and terrified that I would surely go to jail this time. You gave me suggestions, in which I followed without hesitation and the result? You worked day and night to see that I would receive no jail time and your hard work and dedication paid off. No fines and no jail time!
Finally, I had to deal with a violation of probation. After sleepless nights, the day of the trial came and I was prepared to face serious time in jail. With shaking knees and my toothbrush packed, I entered to courtroom, you plead my case and I received no fines and no jail time!
I don’t know how you do it Bruce. Not only are you a master at your profession, but a caring individual who wants the best for his clients. You know the law inside and out and you know the right strategies to help out your clients. I give a satisfaction guaranteed to anyone who chooses to have you represent them.
Thanks a million,Lisa, Baltimore County
I wanted to write you a thank you letter so others may know the work you do. In fact, I chose you because of the word of others and now I want to add my own story. It was foreign to me to be in trouble, let alone to be charged with an extremely serious alcohol related offense.
-Having struck multiple cars, -Failing to stop after several different accidents, -Driving down the street with airbags blown, -Driving on rims of the car because tires blown, -Witnesses galore,It was nothing short of surreal!
I didn’t know what to do at the police station but they told me I needed to blow in the machine so I did- BAC .20. Boy was I in trouble. I spent many a restless nights worrying about this horrible mess. However, I know that you also spent many restless hours working on my case, finding the right expert for me, and developing a good defense. You worked tirelessly to defend me at it paid off on the day of trial. All alcohol charges dropped.
You work hard and you deliver big. Other people should know that about you when looking for a qualified attorney to defend their DUI. If qualified representation is needed, you are the man for the job.
I don't normally read or write testimonials, but after my case, I am compelled to write one for you. Second DUI offense, blew .09, at fault accident which was witnessed by a state trooper. You talked me into turning down the state offer in order to try the case. Not Guilty!

You are unreal. My third DUI offense, without you, I got a year in jail. My fourth DUI, with you, no jail time. I know I promised never again but then my fifth offense. After an accident and a .23 blood test at the hospital- and a three day jury trial, not guilty on the DUI and the negligent driving. Bruce, anybody that fails to hire you as their lawyer for a DUI charge is either drunk or stupid. Simple as that. Thanks for fighting so hard for me!
-- Carroll County
Bruce sorry for being such a pain! Although being stopped for a DUI as well as possession of cocaine was pretty scary for me, I would have lost my job. I have no idea what you did but thanks for getting the DUI and the possession of cocaine charge dropped to possession of paraphanalia only. You did save my life. You will be recommened.
--Queen Anne's County
Bruce:I'm glad my friend encouraged me to see you, even after I already retained a different lawyer. As I told you, I did not have that comfort level that you gave me. Having to pay a second lawyer was nothing, considering you walked me out of court on my second alcohol violation (even with the accident). Just like you promised. Your awesome! Best wishes for the future.

Dear Bruce:You are simply the best damn lawyer I know! I am not proud to be stopped weaving between lanes with a strong odor of alcohol on my breath and caught on police video. I am not proud to have been drinking all evening and have a citizen call in a driving complaint. I am however proud to have you as my lawyer. All alcohol charges dismissed.
-- Howard County
Dear Mr. Robinson:Unbelievable! I don't know what you did, but I'll take it. Charged with DWI, failed field sobriety tests, elevated blood alcohol content and you request a jury trial! I'll tell you, "NOT GUILTY" never sounded so good. You're amazing!
Dear Bruce:You did exactly what you said you would and I respect that. They find me in the car, drunk. I admitted to the cops that I'd been drinking and I was gone. You said "not to worry." Administrative Hearing- NO ACTION. Criminal-trial NOT GUILTY. Unreal! What can I say? Thank you!
-- Baltimore City
Dear Mr. Robinson,I have managed to stay out of trouble my whole life, so you can imagine my discomfort when I got arrested for a DWI. I am sure that my job would not have looked upon this favorably if they found out. I didn't know what to think when you suggested the state may have problems; but apparently you did. "Case Dismissed!" Thanks for handling my case so aggressively.
It was my 4th DWI offense and it had to happen on the Eastern Shore, of all places. Everybody told me to pack my toothbrush, you said I'd be home for dinner. Dinner sure tasted good that night. God Bless you.
-- Easton, Maryland
Bruce, I was told you were the "go to" guy when in a pinch. Despite being a first DWI offense, I knew I was in big trouble when my truck flipped over. I am grateful that God was looking out for me that night and I am grateful that you were looking out for me in Court. Thanks for sending me home.
Everybody told me that after my 3rd DWI I was going to jail. I didn't think I should have received my 2nd DWI but I didn't know you then, my loss. Anyway, thanks for keeping me out of jail on number 3, hopefully there won't be anymore.
Dear Bruce:Thank you for your patience and outstanding assistance in my last intent to distribute case. This was my second conviction for distribution and not only did I get less time that my first office, I got no time at all. Do you walk on water too?
Two days in Baltimore City Jail for a DWI was more than I could handle. I have never been arrested before and I sure won't be arrested again. Thank you for being there for me and making sure that I did not go back again.
Bruce, you know how scared we were: Police, search warrants, drugs found in the house. Not a good situation, all I can say now is- I sure like my Freedom! - Thanks.
